Overview
Synical Gamer is a gaming channel that streams live game play of various games on Youtube, and Twitch.
The Challenge
The gaming channel owner wanted a professional logo design for their gaming channel. They post gaming streams on Twitch and YouTube of various Xbox One and PlayStation 4 games. The requirements of the design were for the logo to convey something cynical and creepy / scary. Tim sketched out how he wanted the “S” to look. The rest of the design aspects were left up to me which gave me pretty much full creative control 🙂
The Results
With the supplied sketch of the “S” from the channel owner Tim I found a font that would work with it. Gave it a gradient red color that went to a deep red, almost black. Gave the text a worn look to it as well.
